| About Us |
|
At Sword & Saga Press our commitment is to our readers. Besides sourcing works of fiction from across the globe, we offer a place to talk books. We think of our press as the coliseum, the open fire, the desert range, the place to connect you with fiction that resonates a sense of nostalgia for the old days, while at the same time offering a view of the future.

At Sword and Saga Press unicorns, werewolves, and dragons exist. Abraham Lincoln and Jane Eyre are vampire slayers.
Magic is real. History has shown us great wizards, from Pharoah Akhenaten to Merlin to our neighbors. |
Time is linear, so whether you're visiting us today, yesterday, or tomorrow, it's all the same. We welcome you anytime you drop by.
Steampunk is more than a genre, it's a way of life.

Warriors rule. From Boudica to Red Cloud to Achilles to Warcraft to Hua Milan, to literacy warriors.
The stories we weave together today will be the legends of tomorrow. |
Be part of a long line of storytellers. Share your story, read a tale, tell a friend.
“A poor idea well written is more likely to be accepted than a good idea poorly written" Isaac Asimov

FAQs |
Why was Sword & Saga Press started?
Sword & Saga Press was formed in an effort to be part of the creative engine publishing fiction. We ascribe to the philosophy that the world of publishing is in the hands of only a few, and can, at times, stifle the voices of countless authors.
The artist, Banksy, said it best: "The Art we look at is made by only a select few. A small group create, promote, purchase, exhibit and decides the success of Art. Only a few hundred people in the world have any real say. When you go to an art gallery you are simply a tourist looking at the trophy cabinet of a few millionaires."
It is our wish to deliver to our audience unique and inspired fiction from around the world. We live outside of the boundaries and confines developed to oppress, and rise to elevate the unheard.
We support freedom of expression and freedom to write. We are proponents of the Dakru Literary Movement, which is putting the art, the fun, and control back into the hand of writers. |
